Quintay historical and natural Tour
The Quintay beach is a fishermen's cove which is 47 kms from the city of Valparaiso.
Quintay used to be a big industrial whale processing factory, now is an ideal area for walking, resting, relaxing, fishing and enjoying the natural beauty of an almost unspoiled area.
The beach is clean with white sand, perfect to do scuba diving in a beautiful marine ecosystem.
Quintay is one of the best places in Chile to practice and learn scuba diving in the calm waters which were chosen by blue whales to raise their newborns. There are three different scuba diving schools.
In the surroundings there are great beaches for sport fishing, like for example Tunquén. This 2 kilometers beach is located in a small valley where the estuary of Casa Blanca creek ends.
